Despite Alyssa Schroeder's 2-2 performance at the plate on Friday, Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach took a 7-0 loss at the hands of Orland Sparks at Hassert Field, Cresthill.
Andie Broniewicz was the game's losing pitcher. She allowed seven runs in four innings, walked five and struck out seven.
The game was never in doubt after the third, as Orland Sparks scored two runs on a two-run error.
Orland Sparks added five more runs in the bottom of the fourth. A error scored Kerry O'Sullivan and Jessica Galinsky to get Orland Sparks on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Ellie Watson's single, bringing home Emily Bloom, Celeste Izaguirre and Kennady Hall.

Eighteen batters couldn't locate Andie Broniewicz as Andie threw a no-hitter on Friday, in Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach's 7-0 victory over Central Ohio Knockouts. No Central Ohio Knockouts batter was able to locate Andie's pitches during the game. Andie threw a no-hitter, striking out 17 batters and walking two while recording her momentous feat. She got Lacher to strike out for the final out of the game. Six runs in the opening three innings allowed Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach to easily put away Central Ohio Knockouts.
