Sunday was a day Andie Broniewicz will remember forever as Andie threw a no-hitter in Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach's 10-0 victory over DG Rebels 10U. No DG Rebels 10U batter was able to locate Andie's pitches during the game. Andie threw a no-hitter, striking out eight batters and walking none while recording her momentous feat. She got Payton to strike out for the final out of the game. Ten runs in the opening three innings allowed Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach to easily put away DG Rebels 10U. A two-run single by Megan Witzke and a two-run single by Chloe Smiley in the first inning and an RBI single by Meredith Olef, an RBI single by Megan, a groundout by Olivia Hernandez, a two-run double by Chloe, and an RBI single by Morgan Bond during the second inning helped Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach put some runs on the board early. Chloe racked up four RBIs on two hits for Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach.

Maia Clifford went 1-3, sparking Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach to a 4-0 victory in seven innings over Lincoln Way Storm 10U on Sunday. She singled in the fifth inning. Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach's Andie Broniewicz kept Lincoln Way Storm 10U off the scoreboard for all seven innings she was in the circle. She pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up seven. Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach didn't relinquish the lead after scoring one run in the first inning when it scored on a groundout by Andie. Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach piled on two more runs in the top of the fifth. Maia singled, plating Chloe Smiley to start the inning. That was followed up by Andie's double, bringing home Maia.
Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach tacked on one more run in the top of the seventh when walked.

Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach won the hit battle 12-6 on Wednesday, but couldn't push enough runs across to get the win, instead losing 8-7 in six innings to Plainfield Twisters Purple at Four Seasons Park. Gracie Vlach went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach. She singled in the first, third, and fifth innings. In the top of the first, Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach grabbed the early lead, 1-0. Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach got things going when Gracie singled. A stolen base then moved Gracie from first to second. Gracie then stole home. Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach got two-run rallies in the third inning and the fifth. In the third, Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach scored on an RBI double by Maia Clifford, plating Gracie.
Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach matched its one-run fourth inning with one more in the sixth. In the fourth, Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach scored on an RBI single by Olivia Hernandez, bringing home Ally Pavlich. Plainfield Twisters Purple answered Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach's top inning with five runs of its own in the fourth. Plainfield Twisters Purple scored on a two-run single by Kaitlyn Sullivan, a wild pitch, a wild pitch, and an RBI single by Anna Smith. The game was decided quickly as Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach exerted its will early with five runs in the first three innings. A wild pitch, a wild pitch, a passed ball, an RBI single by Maia Clifford, and in the second inning supplied the early offense for Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach. Morgan Bond racked up three RBIs on two hits for Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach.

Gracie paced Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach at the plate. Gracie went 1-3, drove in one and scored three runs. Yorkville Sparks matched its two-run first inning with two more in the third. In the first, Yorkville Sparks scored on an error, bringing home Ellie Alvarez. Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach built upon its lead with four runs in the third. The inning looked promising, as Olivia Hernandez singled, scoring Megan Witzke to kick things off. That was followed up by Lauren Salerno's single, plating Olivia.
