The inning looked promising, as Kennady Hall singled, plating Kylie Sinal to kick things off.

Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach fell 18-2 to Plainfield Twisters Orange at Four Seasons Park on Wednesday. Plainfield Twisters Orange pounded Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach pitching, as seven hitters combined for nine hits, seven RBIs and 14 runs scored.

The lead stayed with Plainfield Twisters Orange after the first, when it scored nine runs on an RBI double by Lauren Derkowski, a groundout by Liliana Santoyo, two singles, and One run in the top of the fourth helped Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach close its deficit to 14-1. An RBI double by Maia Clifford sparked Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach's rally. Plainfield Twisters Orange stopped the rally after Savannah Fierke got Ally Pavlich to ground out. After pushing across one run in the top of the fifth, Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach faced just a 18-2 deficit. A steal of home by Megan Witzke triggered Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach's comeback. But, Savannah got Morgan Bond to to end the game.

Not even a strong hitting and pitching performance from Andie Broniewicz could carry Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach past Chicago Fireworks at Wheatland Salem on Saturday as Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach suffered a 7-4 defeat. Andie got a hit in each of her two at bats. She singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Chicago Fireworks couldn't get anything going as long as Andie was pitching. B gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during her three innings of work. The game was never in doubt after the fourth, as Chicago Fireworks scored three runs on two errors. After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fifth, Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach faced just a 6-1 deficit. fueled Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach's comeback. Morgan Bond struck out to end the Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach threat. Three Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach runs crossed the plate in the bottom half of the sixth, making the score 7-4. An RBI double by Andie, an RBI single by Meredith Olef, and an error triggered Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach's comeback. Wheatland Spikes 10U Vlach's Ally Pavlich to end the ballgame.
